New Owners, new surface, new food.

Ozark Raceway Park, as it is now named, has new owners for this year. The Neil Chance family has purchased the track and changes are being made all over the place. The track was ground smooth and sanded to remove several humps and bumps and make the transision from concrete to asphalt very flat. Right now they are in the process of making more parking and redoing the pits. The tower has had a major overhaul inside, and computer upgrades are nearing completion. To those who need a little something in between rounds the consession stand has new and improved items on the menu. They are planning to install better rest room facilites with showers for those who want to camp all weekend. Changes are still being made and it looks like it is for the better. :D

Hooray for the restroom update. Will it be ready for Branson. Good to hear about the other changes as well. I am looking forward to this part of the Z Fest even though my car is slow.

Sadly no it won't be ready for Z Fest. They are currently filling in one of the valleys where it will be going.

At Fontana and Firebird they let me go out with the car and film next to the starter of by the water box. I just have to sign the tech sheet and get a stamp 8) Thanks!

I think he was referring to the bathroom facilities not being ready for Branson.

Shane, there is no problem with getting video or photos. We call people like you "guard rail targets"

LOL that reminds of last Friday when I was filming a Nitro out there   Oh and the billboards behind the starting lines at Firebird look like they were pelted with hail  Dangerous but fun stuff
